THE DESIRE TO HELP

 

"How we wish we could see our friends over there. Will the world ever come into the truth, that visible and invisible mingle together, and both are everywhere present?"

"Yes, we know; and the hope of the future rests with those few." 'But the bad spirits influence the earth life also?'

 

"Yes, we know that too. And therein lies the greater need of knowledge. Malicious spirits are ever trying to control human influence. They do succeed many, many times, and selfishness, war, deception, suicides, murders, and a host of other evils are the result. If the world, the human world, only knew, they could then control these influences. But instead of practical work and preventive policies, they punish the wicked when some especially flagrant act brings them to view. We would even leave our blessed happiness here if we could return for awhile to give humanity the truth as we have learned it here."
