those who are ready to help us."
'In what way can we help?'
"First of all, in our judgment, is the
understanding of this life. Not in the old ecstatic, symbolic way, but in
the way of acquiring knowledge of the limitless opportunities for the
human soul. We were not taught on earth that once past the gateway of
death there was either opportunity or necessity for growth. Neither had we
learned that service for others was one of the heavenly joys. Nor did we
dream that through such service evil souls could be
transformed into pure-hearted and
wise-minded helpers!"
